Raw Food Diet

It is important to eat a raw food diet full of foods that are free from pesticides. Look for those that are organically grown. Many individuals on a raw food diet find it is better to grow their own at home. They can save money and they can also know everything was grown without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides.
Raw foods hold more of the essential vitamins and nutrients than cooked foods so individuals don’t have to worry about that. A supplement of the Vitamin B12 is recommended though as this is one you will primarily gain from meats you consume. Since eating raw meat is never a good idea you can easily take a pill daily to ensure you get this area covered.
If you don’t consume milk or other dairy products then you will definitely need to make sure you are taking a calcium supplement as well. You can get the calcium you need though if you choose to eat cheese or to drink milk. You should be getting a good amount of water from the fresh fruits and vegetables that you consume. However, you should make sure you drink several glasses of it each day anyway. A raw food diet may be just what you need to start looking and feeling better than you have for a very long time.
