Airport parking can be quite a nightmare and many people dread it. Trying to remember where you parked your car days later is never fun either. Even if the airport has a shuttle you will still have to drag your luggage quite a distance. For those that don't offer a shuttle it can end up being quite a walk. Even though some terminals have curbside check in, the whole process can take time and leave you wore out.

In addition to paying what the normal parking fees are at the airport on a daily rate, you will also have to pay for the valet to store your vehicle. Yet you may enjoy knowing that you vehicle is going to be well taken care of.

It is a good idea to ask where your vehicle will be stored when you use the airport valet. Ironically, some of them just take the vehicles back to the same parking lot you would have placed it in yourself. Yet they are charging you twice as much for that space due to the valet placing it there. Others use enclosed fenced areas or even an indoor warehouse to place valet vehicles in until you return.

Make sure you ask about the fees for airport valet parking too. You don't want to return and discover you owe a couple hundred dollars for their service. Some people use valet services at the airport for convenience when they are dropping someone off or picking someone up as well. Generally these charges will be by the hour rather than by the day for storing your vehicle.

You will need to provide your valet with your return flight information. This way they can meet you at the right luggage console as you return. This is very convenient as many people are tired out when they return from traveling. Instead of having to drag all of your luggage out there and find where you parked, the valet will even help you with your luggage.
