If none of these things work, consult your doctor. It might be something more serious such as a yeast infection.

Diaper rash is a normal part of being a baby, and most babies will get them from time to time. You can minimize the effects and occurrences by changing your babies diaper often. Try a variety of brands to find the one that works well for your baby’s skin. Make sure you buy the right size diapers. If it is too loose or tight, a rash might develop. When changing your baby, use unscented baby wipes or plain water. If you baby develops diaper rashes frequently, use a cream daily to prevent outbreaks.
