Zodiac Constellations
The fact that the Zodiac constellations move with the sun explains why you can’t see all of them at the same time. It can be fun to plan to look for each one as it emerges depending on the time of year. Every month you can look forward to seeing a new Zodiac constellation. The Aries can be seen mainly during the month of November if the sky is clear enough. As December approaches you will start to see the Taurus. Gemini emerges in January, Cancer is February, Leo the Lion emerges in March, Virgo in April, Libra in May, Scorpio in June, Sagittarius in July, Capricorn in August, Aquarius in September, and Pisces in October.
It can be very helpful to have an astrological atlas available when you are attempting to find the various Zodiac constellations. If you are having a hard time finding one of them change the time of evening when you look for them. Some are clearer early in the evening while others become more distinct as the night progresses. From the Earth you can’t see all the activity that takes place within these various Zodiac constellations. With the right equipment though you will be able to see many of these stars continue to burn as they move around the ecliptic pattern.
If you are interested in learning more about the various Zodiac constellations you will find plenty of books and websites that offer information. Many of them have detailed pictures so you will know exactly what you are looking for in the sky. Hunting for Zodiac constellations can be a fun way to spend time with your family. It will also help you to look forward to the new month ahead so you can take on a new search for the next one.
