Atheism Beliefs
Just because a person is an Atheist, it doesn’t mean they are bad or that they are evil. It simply means that don’t believe the world was created by a God and they don’t believe there is a good or an evil force watching over us. Many Atheists have come to this conclusion based on the various historical and scientific issues that come into play. Since these things can be proven and God can’t they tend to follow the path that offers logical solutions and practical reasoning. Instead they believe in concepts such as treating others with respect, honest, integrity, ethics, and morals.
However, most Atheists do believe in good and evil that takes place on this Earth, but they view it is an individual choice to do what is right or what is wrong. They don’t blame any unseen or unknown force for individual choices, and they accept responsibility for the choices they make –both good and bad. They can be very spiritual in nature and make a pledge to themselves to make be the best they can in their actions and their attitude.
Why do so many other religions have a problem with Atheism beliefs? Many of them spend a great deal of time trying to convince other people that their religion is the best. However, since an Atheist chooses not to be part of a religion, it is saying to them that their religious beliefs are unfounded. It can lead to anger and cause relationship problems.
Rather than viewing an Atheist as someone who doesn’t believe in God, try to view them as individuals who have made a choice to follow their heart and mind, to always do what is right when they can and to accept responsibility for doing wrong. In reality, isn’t this a huge part of most other religions once you put the actual Faith part of it to the side?
